The project stems from the desire to renovate an old apartment located in a building of the early 1900s to adapt it to the needs of the new young owner. The need for flexibility and to obtain new spaces for cabinets and storage, clashed with the structural conformation of the building, consisting of load-bearing walls in masonry of local stone and, therefore, with the difficulty of modifying the distribution of interior spaces, unless to carry out important (and expensive) consolidation actions. The solution was covered with the demolition of the only partition present and the construction of an equipped wall with wardrobe, foldaway bed and full-height sliding doors. In this way a large room has been obtained double that, if necessary, could be transformed into two bedrooms-
